Arch Quinton was an anthropologist and a good friend of Robert Maxwell. While studying some bones, he and Robert saw the Visitors ship for the first time in the sky near their location. When the Visitors learned that he was studying the photo of Supreme Commander John's head in the First Invasion by placing a visitor mini camera bug tin the mothership's science places, Diana sent Steven to kill Quinton. Steven shot a laser in Quinton's car before he could do more research and find out that it was a reptile head behind the John mask.
