Denny Lowell was a stockbroker who was in a great relationship with Julie Parrish at the time of the initial invasion. He was happy to see the arrival and thought it was wonderful. He used the time of excitement to spend more time with Julie at first.
As things progressed however, and the scientist conspiracy became widespread, Denny began to lose clients due to his relationship with Julie. He tried to brush it off, but he was becoming bitter.
Julie left him before too long, after he stopped being supportive of her.
